Our newest Team Leaders
Volunteers from across Vancouver Island attended the intensive training program
We are pleased to announce that after an intensive training course through the Justice Institute of British Columbia, three of our team members have been qualified as Ground Search Team Leaders. We are all very proud of the hard work and dedication that Angela, Natasha and Dylan have shown in meeting the many challenges this program offered.
Ground Search Team Leaders (GSTLs) are responsible for leading a group of SAR volunteers during a Search and Rescue task – be it a search through dense bush, a stretcher carry or anything else our Ground SAR team may be asked to do.
