Members from Campbell River SAR recently joined with SAR members from a dozen other groups throughout the province for a course on tracking.  Tracking is the art of finding, identifying and following sign, and by interpreting sign, being able to deduce accurate information about the person or animal being tracked.  By training this skill, our members will be better able to notice the subtle signs that show where a lost person may have gone, and hopefully give some clues as to where to find them.

The tracking course was offered by the British Columbia Tracking Association (www.bctracking.org), and was attended by members of our own Tracking team.
